īśvara uvāca:
upāyaḥ śobhano devi yo me manasi vartate /
tamevāsmai pradāsyāmi yastvayā kathito varaḥ //

Īśvara said:
"The means that is in my mind, O goddess, is a good one;
I shall indeed grant him that very boon which you have spoken."
