kadā paśyati tīrthaṃ vai kadā nastārayiṣyati /
iti pratīkṣāṃ kurvanti putrāṇāṃ satataṃ nṛpa /
śūlabhede naraḥ snātvā dṛṣṭvā śūladharaṃ sakṛt //
‘When will he see the pilgrimage place? When will he deliver us?’ / In this way they constantly wait for sons, O king. / A man having bathed at Śūlabheda and seen the bearer of the trident once,
