akāmato 'pi sarveṣāṃ pātakāni narādhipa /
brāhmaṇānāṃ tu te śrutvā vākyaṃ tadvismayānvitāḥ //
Even though unintentional, those were sins of all of them, O king. / But hearing that speech of the brāhmins, they were filled with amazement.
