tataścānantaraṃ devaścintayāno maheśvaraḥ /
na skando na harirbrahmā yaḥ kāryeṣu kṣamo 'dhunā //
Immediately after that, the god Maheśvara reflected:
“Neither Skanda, nor Hari, nor Brahmā is capable in this matter now.”
