kāṇāṣṭuṃṭāśca maṇṭāśca vedapāṭhavivarjitāḥ /
na te pūjyā dvijāḥ pārtha maṇināgeśvare śubhe //
The one-eyed, those with mutilated limbs, the blunt, and those lacking Veda recitation— / those twice-born are not to be honoured, O Pāṇḍava, at the auspicious Maṇināgeśvara.
