78.20

asya śrāddhasya bhāvena brāhmaṇasya prasādataḥ /
narmadātoyabhāvena nyāyārjitadhanasya ca /
teṣāṃ caiva prabhāvena pretā yāntu parāṃ gatim //

By the power of this śrāddha, by the favor of the brāhmaṇa,
by the power of the water of the Narmadā, and of wealth acquired through righteousness,
and by their power alone, may the departed spirits go to the supreme state.
