rāmacandreṇa paulastyo hataḥ saṃkhye mahābalaḥ /
vanaṃ bhagnaṃ hatāḥ śūrāḥ prabhañjanasutena ca //
The mighty son of Pulastya was slain in battle by Rāmacandra; / the grove was broken and the warriors were slain by the son of the wind.
