nandyuvāca:
rudradehodbhavā kiṃ te na śrutā bhūtale sthitā /
śravaṇājjanmajanitaṃ dviguṇaṃ kīrtanād vrajet //

Nandin said: / "Have you not heard of her who arose from the body of Rudra and rests upon the earth? / By hearing [of her], the [sin] born in a birth departs; by glorifying [her], it departs twofold.
