triṃśajjanmārjitaṃ pāpaṃ naśyed revāvagāhanāt /
tasmāt tvaṃ narmadātīraṃ gatvā cara tapo mahat //
The sin acquired across thirty births is destroyed by bathing in the Revā. / Therefore, go to the bank of the Narmadā and perform great austerities."
