īśvara uvāca:
varaṃ prārthaya me bhadra yatte manasi vartate /
sādhu sādhu mahāsattva tuṣṭo 'haṃ tapasā tava //

Īśvara said:
"Ask a boon of me, gentle one, whatever is in your mind.
Well done, well done, of great courage! I am pleased with your ascetic practice."
