hṛtairvedaiścaturbhiśca brahmāpyevaṃ maheśvaraḥ /

With the four Vedas stolen away, Brahmā too, along with Maheśvara, / praised the imperishable Śaṅkara together with his mind-born sons beginning with Bhṛgu,
