tānvedāndevadeveśa śīghraṃ me dātumarhasi /
jaḍāndhabadhiraṃ sarvaṃ jagatsthāvarajaṅgamam //
You ought to give me those Vedas swiftly, O lord of the gods! / The entire world, unmoving and moving, has become inert, blind, and deaf.
