śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra yamahāsyamanuttamam /
sarvapāpaharaṃ tīrthaṃ narmadātaṭamāśritam //

Glorious Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, O king of kings, one should go to Yamahāsya, which has no superior, / a pilgrimage place that takes away all sins, situated on the bank of the Narmadā.
