yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
yamahāsyaṃ kathaṃ jātaṃ pṛthivyāṃ dvijapuṃgava /
etatsarvaṃ mamākhyāhi paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me //

Yudhiṣṭhira said: / How did Yamahāsya come to be on earth, O bull among the twice-born? / Recount all this to me, for great indeed is my curiosity.
