O Eternal One! If on earth some rare wise man understands / that other, composite-free mantra syllable of yours, the Kāmarāja, to belong to Sarasvatī, / it is because, reciting the story of Satyavratas on every sacred festival, / the twice-born clearly pronounce it at the start, having brought it into association with the sphere of the Praṇava. [Variant reading: 'having brought it to the nature of loving association with the Praṇava'] || 4
