gauśśabdo giri vartate sa niyataṃ yo gaṃ vinā siddhidaḥ .. 5 ..

That third seed syllable of Yours, possessing moon-like radiance, whose efficacy in instantly producing eloquence / is perceived by the wise, I bow to with my mind. / May "aur" also, following Sarasvatī, be for the destruction of the waters of dullness; / the word "gauḥ" is situated in speech; that which brings attainment without "ga" is invariable.
