yatsadyo vacasāṃ pravṛttikaraṇe dṛṣṭaprabhāvaṃ budhai-
stārtīyīkamahaṃ [tārtīyaṃ tadahaṃ iti pāṭhāntaram] namāmi manasā
tvadbījaminduprabham .
astvaurvo'pi sarasvatīmanugato jāḍyāmbuvicchittaye
gauḥ śabdo giri vartate sa niyataṃ yogaṃ vinā siddhidaḥ .. 5 ..

I bow mentally to that third seed-syllable of Yours, shining like the moon,
whose power to immediately cause speech to flow forth has been witnessed by the wise.
Let Aurva too follow Sarasvatī to cut off the waters of dullness!
The word 'gauḥ' resides in speech: it certainly grants accomplishment without yoga. .. 5 ..
