11.24

vikramya bhūmimakhilāṃ balinā pradiṣṭāṃ deve padāvani divaṃ parimātukāme |
āsīdato dinakarasya karopatāpā-tsaṃrakṣituṃ padasarojamuparyabhūstvam ||

When the Lord, having measured the entire earth given by Bali, / wished to measure the sky, O foot-protector, / you stood above to protect his lotus foot / from the burning torment of the sun's rays as he drew near.
