viṣṇoḥ padaṃ gativaśādaparityajantīṃ lokeṣu nityaviṣameṣu samapracārām |
anvetumarhati dhṛtāmakhilaiḥ surendrai-rgaṅgā kathaṃ nu garuḍadhvajapāduke tvām ||

O sandal of the one whose banner bears Garuḍa! / Not abandoning the step of Viṣṇu on account of your movement, / having an even course amidst worlds that are ever uneven, / borne by all the chiefs of gods, / how indeed can the Gaṅgā be worthy to follow you?
