bhikṣāmapekṣya danujendragṛhaṃ prayātu-rguptyai gavāṃ viharato vahataśca dūtyam |
tattādṛśāni caraṇāvani raṅgabhartu-stvatsaṅgamena subhagāni viceṣṭitāni ||
O foot-protector! Of the Lord of Raṅgam who set out for the demon king's house seeking alms, / who wandered about for the protection of cows, and who carried out the task of an envoy— / deeds such as those became charming through their union with you.
