avāpya pādāvani raṅgabhartuḥpādāmbuje pallavasaṃstarābhām |
tvatpadmarāgadyutayo bhajante kālānalatvaṃ kaluśāmbudhernaḥ ||
O foot-protector! Finding the splendor of a bed of sprouts in the lotus-feet of the Lord of Raṅgam, / the gleams of your rubies assume the nature of the fire of time's end for the ocean of our sins.
