ādyo raghukṣitibhujāmabhiṣekadīptai-rāpyāyitastava padāvani raśmijālaiḥ |
mandīcakāra tapano vyapanītabhīti-rmandodarīvadanacandramaso mayūkhān ||
O foot-protector, strengthened by the network of your rays gleaming at the coronation, / the primal Sun of the kings of Raghu's line, his fear removed, / dimmed the rays of the moon that was the face of Mandodarī.
