abhirakṣasi tvamanapāyanidhiṃ maṇipāduke madhubhidaścaraṇam |
ata eva devi tadananyadhanāḥ śirasā vahanti bhavatīṃ kṛtinaḥ ||
O gem sandal, you protect the imperishable treasure, / the foot of the slayer of Madhu; / for this very reason, O goddess, those fortunate ones who have no other wealth / carry you upon their heads.
