pratyuṣa īśo'sidharo janārdanaḥ .
dāmodaro'vyādanusandhyaṃ prabhāte
viśveśvaro bhagavān kālamūrtiḥ .. 22..

May the Lord possessing the abode of the Śrīvatsa protect me in the late night;
Janārdana, the Lord bearing a sword, at dawn;
may Dāmodara protect me at twilight, and at sunrise
may the Lord of all, the worshipful One whose form is Time. 22.
