ŚĀ 12.2
May the two Aśvins anoint me with honey gathered by bees, [with] milk, / so that I may speak honeyed speech among the people. ||6
Smeared with clarified butter, full of honey, rich in milk, winning wealth, supporting, sustaining, / breaking rivals and casting them low: mount upon me for great good fortune! ||7
O Prajāpati, no other than you has encompassed all these creatures. / With whatever desire we offer to you, let that be ours; may we be lords of riches! ||8
May this [amulet of] sanapuṣpī thrust away my rivals, as Indra, conquering in battles, [thrust away] Vṛtra; / as Agni, carried abroad in many places, with sharp jaws consumes the brushwood when the winds blow, so may he wipe away our [enemies]! ||9
This [amulet of] sanapuṣpī, which answers like a peg, broke down the strongholds as Indra [broke] Vṛtra; / by this may Indra, having struck down the assailants, bring hither the possessions of those acting as enemies! ||10
