vāyur ekapāt
tasyākāśaṃ pādaḥ_
candramā dvipāt
tasya pūrvapakṣāparapakṣau pādau_
ādityas tripāt
tasyeme lokāḥ pādāḥ_
agniḥ ṣaṭpādas
tasya pṛthivy antarikṣaṃ dyaur āpa oṣadhivanaspataya imāni bhūtāni pādās
teṣāṃ sarveṣāṃ vedā gatir ātmā pratiṣṭhitāś catasro brahmaṇaḥ śākhāḥ_
atho āhuḥ ṣaḍ iti mūrtir ākāśaś ceti_ [ed. ahuḥ]
ṛcā mūrtiḥ_
yājuṣī gatiḥ
sāmamayaṃ tejaḥ_
bhṛgvaṅgirasā māyā_
etad brahmaiva yajñaś catuṣpād dviḥ saṃsthita iti
tasya bhṛgvaṅgirasaḥ saṃsthe
atho āhur ekasaṃsthita iti
yad dhotarcāṃ maṇḍalaiḥ karoti pṛthivīṃ tenāpyāyayati_
etasyāṃ hy agniś carati
tad apy etad ṛcoktam <agnivāsāḥ pṛthivy asitajñūḥ [ŚS 12.1.21, PS 17.3.2]>_iti
yad adhvaryur yajuṣā karoty antarikṣaṃ tenāpyāyayati
tasmin vāyur na niviśate katamac ca nāhar iti
