pra maṃhiṣṭhāya gāyate
ti pramaṃhiṣṭhīyamuktabrāhmaṇam
taṃ te madaṃ gṛṇīmasī
ti madvatīrbhavanti
abhipūrvamevaitattṛtīyasavane rasaṃ madaṃ dadhati
'Sing to the most bountiful'—
the explanation of the Pramaṃhiṣṭhīya has been stated.
'We praise that exhilaration of thine'—
thus they contain [the word] 'exhilaration'.
In regular succession they place sap and exhilaration in the third pressing.
