For this body, there are one hundred and thirty-seven paṅktis and a half-paṅkti. By that, it is of the paṅkti meter. These very [verses] are ninety-two atichandases. The atichandas indeed overcomes all meters. Thus indeed all the meters are attained for him. As to that, they say: 'How does this entire day become twenty-five-fold?' 'By correspondence,' he should say. 'How by correspondence?' By quarters: nine gāyatrīs of the head; of these, there are twenty-seven quarters. One hundred and six belong to the two wings; forty-two to the tail. Then, taking two from these twenty-seven quarters of the head, they place them into the one hundred and six. Then a twenty-fifth remains. Then what is a hundred of that, those are four twenty-fives. Then the eight that remain over, those they place into the forty-two. Those are two twenty-fives. Just twenty-five into twenty-five. Everything becomes twenty-five-fold.
