Then Atri desired: 'May the most abundant ṛṣis be born in my offspring.' He saw this twenty-sevenfold stoma. He brought it forth. He sacrificed with it. Splendor is the twenty-sevenfold of the stomas. Therefore, the most abundant ṛṣis were born in his offspring; there were more than a thousand mantra-makers in his progeny, and even his women were mantra-makers. Therefore, one who kills even an Ātreyī woman is censured completely. He who knows thus becomes splendid. Then Viśvāmitra desired: 'May kingship come to my offspring.' He saw this thirty-threefold stoma. He brought it forth. He sacrificed with it. Dominion is the thirty-threefold of the stomas. Therefore, kingship came to his offspring. Aṣṭaka was anointed in his offspring. He who knows thus attains kingship. Then, having established offspring in this world, they went to the heavenly world. Having established offspring in this world, he who knows thus goes to the heavenly world.
