In that he places the sacrificer inside.
Of this [virāj], the hiṃ-sound is the cover.
For by the hiṃ-sound food is given to the gods at the end.
Now, this human virāj is these breaths in man.
It is deficient.
And that is visible in the sacrificer.
Therefore it is deficient.
Of this [human virāj], food is the cover.
These three virājs are indeed the navel.
He attains those desires that are in these [virājs].
Moreover, here he attains among them [and] is freed beyond repeated death.
He eats food sufficient for many men in this world,
for the food that is in these is not for a single man.
Whatever in this world possesses a self, death stands opening its mouth over all of it.
That death—it is the year.
Its mouths are the seasons.
Therefore whatever dies, he who knows thus does not die out of season.
He is born in the seasons with offspring and cattle, who knows thus.
