'bring in both hands,' they say!' / 'What broad, famed thought is yours to be accomplished in the quarters, / with that, O wielder of the thunderbolt, cleave open wealth for the taking, even from strongholds!' / — [so he recited]. He reflected: 'The seers ask something firm of me; but they did not know that they wished to see Akūpāra.' / 'What choice, heavenly thing you consider, O Indra, that bring; / may we know of that [giving] of yours, for the giving of Akūpāra!' / — [so he recited]. Then he knew: 'They wish to see Akūpāra.' Raising him with his foot, he said: 'Is it this, like something great, that the seers said to me, "bring in both hands"?' They saw him. These are the wish-granting verses. They desired that wish; that wish was fulfilled for them. Whatever wish one desires when praising with these verses, that wish is fulfilled for him.
