svair mantrair anṛtupā ṛtāveti
anṛtupā hy eṣa etad ṛtāvā /
caturdaśe 'nuvāke tṛtīyaḥ khaṇḍaḥ //
'Drinking out of season by his own mantras, true to the cosmic order'—for drinking out of season, he is in this way true to the cosmic order.
