trir yad divaḥ pari muhūrtam āgād iti
trir ha vā eṣa etasya muhūrtasyemām pṛthivīṃ samantaḥ paryetīmāḥ prajās saṃcakṣāṇaḥ /
'When thrice from heaven he has come around in a moment'—thrice indeed in this moment he goes around this earth on all sides, observing these creatures.
