1.1.13

mā te gṛheṣu niśi ghoṣas ut-sthāt
anyatra tvat rudatyas sam-viśantu /
mā tvam rudatī uras ā-bādhiṣṭhās
jīva-patnī pati-loke vi-rāja
paśyantī prajām sumanasyamānām // svāhā //

Let no wailing arise in your house by night;
may weeping women enter elsewhere than with you!
Do not, weeping, beat your breast;
as one whose husband lives, shine in the husband's realm,
seeing your cheerful offspring! // svāhā
