dhānābhirjuhoti ahorātrāṇāṃ vā etadrūpaṃ yaddhānāṃ ahorātrāṇyeva tatprīṇāti
With grain he makes offering; for this--to wit, grain--is a form of the days and nights: it is the days and nights he thus gratifies.
