tadu ha kaukūstaḥ | caturviṃśatimevaitāḥ prathamagarbhāḥ paṣṭhauhīrdakṣiṇā dadāvṛṣabham pañcaviṃśaṃ hiraṇyametadu ha sa dadau
Now Kaukûsta indeed gave as many as twenty-four heifers with their first calf as dakshinâs, and a bull as the twenty-fifth, and gold; and truly that is what he gave.
