tadārambhaṇavat | yatraitaṃ gṛhṇantyathaitadanārambhaṇamiva yatraitaṃ na gṛhṇanti tasmādvā aṃśuṃ gṛhṇāti
Where they draw that (cup), then that is (like) having a hold; and where they do not draw it, then that is (like) having no hold: therefore, then, he draws the Amsu.
