atha varaṃ vṛṇīte | yaṃ ha vai kaṃ ca suṣuvāṇo varaṃ vṛṇīte so 'smai sarvaḥ samṛdhyate tasmādvaraṃ vṛṇīte
Thereupon he chooses a boon; and, verily, whatsoever boon he who has been anointed chooses, that is completely fulfilled for him: therefore he chooses a boon.
