[The sixth brick, with, Vâg. S. XV, 54], 'Awake, O Agni, and be watchful!'--he thereby says to this Agni, 'Wake thou over this one, and watch thou over him! Wish and fulfilment, meet ye and he together!'--as the text, so the meaning;--'Upon this, the higher seat,'--the higher seat, doubtless, is the sky;--'sit ye down, O All-gods, and the Sacrificer!'--he thereby makes the Sacrificer sit down together with the Visve Devâs.
