svarṇa sūryaḥ svāheti | asau vā ādityaḥ sūryo 'muṃ tadādityamasya sarvasyottamaṃ dadhāti tasmādeṣo 'sya sarvasyottamaḥ
'The heaven-like Sûrya, hail!'--Sûrya, doubtless, is yonder sun: he thus places yonder sun highest of all this (universe), whence he is the highest of all this (universe).
