ayáṃ me varaṇó maṇíḥ sapatnakṣáyaṇo vŕ̥ṣā |
tenā́ rabhasva tváṃ śátrūn prá mr̥ṇīhi durasyatáḥ ||1||
This varaṇá [is] my rival-destroying, virile (vṛ́ṣan) amulet; with it do thou take hold of thy foes, slaughter thy injurers (durasy-).
