yáthā yáśo yájamāne yáthāsmín yajñá ā́hitam |
evā́ me varaṇó maṇíḥ kīrtíṃ bhū́tiṃ ní yachatu |
téjasā mā sám ukṣatu yáśasā sám anaktu mā ||23||
As glory [is] set in the sacrificer, as in this sacrifice, so let the varaṇá amulet etc. etc.
