varaṇó vārayātā ayáṃ devó vánaspátiḥ |
yákṣmo yó asmínn ā́viṣṭas tám u devā́ avīvaran ||5||
The varaṇá, this divine forest-tree, shall ward off; the yákṣma that has entered into this man—that have the gods warded off.
