árātyās tvā nírr̥tyā abhicārā́d átho bhayā́t |
mr̥tyór ójīyaso vadhā́d varaṇó vārayiṣyate ||7||
From the niggard, from perdition, from sorcery, also from fear, from the more violent deadly weapon of death, the varaṇá shall shield thee.
