satyénordhvás tapati bráhmaṇārvā́ṅ ví paśyati |
prāṇéna tiryáṅ prā́ṇati yásmin jyeṣṭhám ádhi śritám ||19||
By truth he burns aloft; by bráhman he looks abroad hitherward, by breath he breathes crosswise—he on whom rests (çritá) the chief thing.
