prā́ṇa prāṇáṃ trāyasvāso ásave mr̥ḍa |
nírr̥te nírr̥tyā naḥ pā́śebhyo muñca ||4||
O breath, rescue thou breath; O life-breath (ásu), be gracious to life-breath; O destruction, free us from the fetters of destruction.
