yát préṣitā váruṇenā́c chī́bham samávalgata |
tád āpnod índro vo yatī́s tásmād ā́po ánu ṣṭhana ||2||
When, sent forth by Varuna, ye thereupon (ā́t) quickly skipped (valg) together, then Indra obtained (āp) you as ye went; therefore are ye waters (ā́p) afterward.
