tā́n aśvattha níḥ śr̥ṇīhi śátrūn vaibādhadódhataḥ |
índreṇa vr̥traghnā́ medī́ mitréṇa váruṇena ca ||2||
Crush them out, O açvatthá, our violent foes, O expelling one, allied with Vṛtra-slaying Indra, with Mitra, and with Varuṇa.
