piśáṅge sū́tre khŕ̥galaṃ tád ā́ badhnanti vedhásaḥ |
śravasyúṃ śúṣmaṃ kābaváṃ vádhriṃ kr̥ṇvantu bandhúraḥ ||3||
On a reddish string a khṛ́gala—that the pious (vedhás) bind on; let the binders (?) make impotent the flowing (?), puffing (?) kābavá.
