samáṃ jyótiḥ sū́ryeṇā́hnā rā́trī samā́vatī |
kr̥ṇomi satyám ūtáye 'rasā́ḥ santu kŕ̥tvarīḥ ||1||
The same light with the sun—night possesses the same with the day; I make what is effective (satyá) for aid; sapless be the makers (f.) [of witchcraft].
